The Central Mindanao University (CMU) is also known as the “Academic Paradise of the South” and is the “Top Agricultural University” in Mindanao, located in the University Town, Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon. Recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines as the Center of Excellence in the fields of Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary Medicine, and Biology and the Center of Development in Mathematics, Environmental Science, and Teacher Education. It is a research state university located in the heart of Mindanao Island, and it has been one of the oldest premier universities in the southern Philippines since its inception in 1910.
CMU is also the first university in Mindanao to develop a tourism development plan, opening its university museum, the only Fernery in the country, and coffee cupping to tourists for an awesome immersive experience.
HOW TO GET THERE:
The jump-off point is at the Valencia City Bus Terminal. From there, one can ride a bus or a van to go to the university; the main gate can be seen just along the highway. Inform the driver to drop you off at Central Mindanao University.
