Mindamora Falls

Mindamora Falls, also known as Limunsudan or Bayug Falls, is a captivating two-tiered waterfall located between Talakag, Bukidnon, and Sitio Limunsudan, Barangay Rogongon in Iligan City. Nestled amidst dense, thriving forests teeming with undiscovered life and diverse flora, these renowned falls await trekkers and visitors. To reach this natural wonder, one must traverse through lush jungles, adding to the sense of adventure. With a staggering height of 870 feet (270 meters), Mindamora Falls claims the title of the Philippines’ second-highest waterfall, second only to Aliwagwag Falls in Cateel, Davao Oriental.

HOW TO GET THERE: 

You may take a van from Cagayan de Oro to Talakag, Bukidnon. Look for a habal-habal ride to Mindamora Falls once you are in town. Trek for 10-15 minutes from the jump-off point to the view deck with a panoramic vista of the waterfalls. You can see the waterfall’s bottom stream if you hike deeper for an hour.
