Just a kilometer off the town center of Sapang Dalaga nestles an alluring 60-foot tall waterfall. From Baga Falls, it was renamed Sapang Dalaga Falls, which means ‘‘Sapa ng Dalaga’’ or ‘‘the maiden’s creek,’’ as old folks claimed to witness a beautiful maiden, whom they believed to be an Engkanto, bathe at the creek near the area every six in the evening. Beyond the mystical tale, this wonder charms locals and visitors to take a thrilling jump from its rocks or a refreshing dip into its cool, deep waters. Embellished with a sitting woman’s statue and mini bridge, the place is positioned to become an accessible park with this majestic waterfall as the centerpiece against a lush setting.
HOW TO GET THERE:
From the town center of Sapang Dalaga, one may ride a motorcycle (habal-habal) or take the walking distance to get to the site.
