The White Island is a must-visit when in Camiguin. This sandbar is an island of white sand, crushed corals, and pebble stones, making this part of Camiguin Province ideal for snorkeling or sunbathing. Also famous for its dive spots, it boasts a black coral underwater forest. The White Island is widely known for its picturesque spots, with Camiguin Island in the background. Photo shoots are best done in the early morning or before sunset. The island’s shape changes daily, depending on the tides. Staying overnight on White Island is prohibited.

The Old Gui-ob Church, known as Cotta Bato, is a precious remnant from 19th-century Camiguin. Recognized as a national cultural treasure, this church was constructed in 1623 as the Parish Church

Take a peek under the waters and discover what remains of an old cemetery sunk by the eruption of Mt. Vulcan in 1871. Transformed into a pristine sanctuary below the waves, a giant cross is erected as the landmark of this mysterious historical site. Part of the beautiful seascape of this famous dive site is an array of six different species of giant clams. The 70-meter-high Katibawasan Falls is the highest falls in Camiguin. Mt. Timpoong supplies its narrow stream of water and drops vigorously into a cool, fresh water basin. Camiguin’s volcanoes fashioned the island paradise and generated springs and thermal pools. Ardent Hot Spring Resort is one of Camiguin’s most famous hot springs, located at the foot of Mt. Hibok-Hibok volcano, which supplies its 40°C hot spring water. The pools underwent improvements, with their sides landscaped using natural volcanic stones and surrounded by huge tropical trees, shrubs, and decorative plants.

Take a dip at Sto. Niño Cold Spring, where the fresh spring water from the mountains flows into two pools. Swim in the large pool with cool mineral spring water, surrounded by natural scenery. Kids can enjoy a smaller, shallower pool, which also features a sandy base. Cottages are available for whole-day outings with friends or families. A day at Sto. Niño Cold Spring is indeed the perfect way to refresh and cool off.

The Walkway to the Old Volcano is an 8-kilometer path with 14 life-sized Stations of the Cross situated at Mt. Vulcan in Barangay Bonbon. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations, especially during the Lenten Season. Every Holy Week, pilgrims observe the annual tradition of Panaad, which means “pledge,” on this site. The holy activity is observed as an expression of penitence and renewal of one’s faith in the Lord.

This tourism gem is a staple when touring the Island Province of Camiguin.
